BOSTON - March 2, 2011 - The Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®) today announced that CompuGroup Medical's HEHR v.10 is a pre-market conditionally CCHIT Certified® 2011 Ambulatory EHR. HEHR v.10 achieved the highest usability rating by the Commission, demonstrated compliance with the advanced ePrescribing module requirements and passed all required criteria in the CCHIT 2011 Ambulatory and Security test scripts.
"We are very proud that this certification comes on the heels of the recent ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification recently achieved by another CompuGroup Medical product, NetPracticeEHRweb," says Gerhard Schütz, CEO of CompuGroup Medical U.S. "It confirms what a strong portfolio of software options we offer and highlights that we have a technologically advanced, user-friendly solution to meet any client's needs." NetPracticeEHRweb™ version 7.02.0 was certified (Certification #IG-2351-10-0014) on December 29, 2010 as a Complete EHR by InfoGard Laboratories, an Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The CCHIT Certified program is an independently developed certification that includes rigorous inspection of an EHR's integrated functionality, interoperability and security using criteria developed by CCHIT's broadly representative, expert work groups. This program is intended to serve healthcare providers looking for greater assurance that a product will meet their complex needs. Physicians and other providers can be confident that products with the CCHIT Certified 2011 seal offer greater assurance that their unique needs will be met; insurers and other payers know the products meet expected industry standards. In the certification process, CompuGroup Medical's HEHR v.10 demonstrated:
"We take infinite pride in our products and their ability to help our customers provide optimal healthcare with efficiency and ease," said Bridget Michaels, director of project management. "Every member of our team enthusiastically contributed to the success of this product and the ease of our certification process, and we take the most pride in our people and their tireless work ethic. We believe that with this certification achievement our customers can be assured of having the highest quality EHR."
HEHR is just one of the EHR offerings from CompuGroup Medical U.S.
